The Road to a 1,00 Member CommunityI remember when I opened The HPE Collective on June 26, 2024. I was anxious because running a business is foreign to me, but I was deeply motivated to do something that would have a lasting impact on the HPE Community. Years ago, it seemed that we could all connect, share, and grow on traditional social media platforms. Over time, we've seen the erosion of those platforms, their algorithms, and their content moderation. X became so toxic in 2024 that many educators opted to close their accounts and move to other sites like Bluesky to recreate the previous communities that they loved. But I'm not convinced that our HPE Community will find a traditional social media site that will create the meaningful, lasting connections we crave. The HPE Collective is a community built for HPE Teachers by HPE Teachers. Our free spaces offer members the opportunities to participate in Q&A, share resources and experiences, and complete weekly challenges. All of these are built thematically to support HPE teachers. We imagine a social networking and learning experience free from the noise and distractions of traditional social media. And in 2025, we plan to expand. We have already announced our first conference partner. Best Practices in Health and Physical Education is transforming their conference experience with the powerful community building tools of The HPE Collective. Their members will be able to access a calendar of events like a traditional scheduling app with a connected conference social feed, tailored resource libraries curated by the conference presenters, and powerful live streaming feeds to make announcements during their conference. Best Practices is transforming the conference experience. Do you want to learn more about how you can transform your next conference? Click the button below!
Finally, we are currently in discussions with some of the best authors and content producers in the world about our plans for on-demand courses. We know that you are looking for a place where you can access great people and great PD in a flash. Our on-demand courses will be dynamic, multimedia experiences that put you at the center of your learning. Complete real tasks and projects that improve your curriculum, planning skills, behavior management, skill-development activities, assessments, and more. We are ready to take this community to the next level. With that said, you shouldn't let your friends and colleagues miss out. If we are commited to the broader transformation of health and physical education, then we need to build the capacity of as many teachers as possible. That work is happening here, in The HPE Collective, for us and by us. Copy the link below and send it to 5 teachers who would love to go on this journey of transformation with us. https://www.hpecollective.online/share/mo45zWP-fLQl6jmv?utm_source=manual New in The HPE Collective

The 1K Giveaway! This milestone may seem small to you, but it means a lot to us. This community started as a small idea with a handful of people who shared the same interests and values. The conversations, the support, the knowledge shared, and the time you choose to spend here are what made this milestone possible. So first, thank you.Whether...
